From a gap in the market to a labour of love

Meet Nikita

I'm a mum of three, juggling family life with my work at a local dental practice here in Jersey. Like many people, I found myself searching for little ways to make our home feel more special — more warm, more inviting, more loved.

When I looked for candles in Jersey, I noticed something: there were basic supermarket options on one end, and very expensive luxury brands on the other. There was no middle ground — nowhere to find a truly beautiful, high-quality candle at a reasonable price.

So I decided to fill that gap myself.

I started collecting gorgeous glass jars — the kind you want to keep on your shelf long after the candle has burned down. I taught myself to hand-pour soy wax, experimented with essential oils and fragrance blends, and tested each candle in my own home until the scent throw and burn time were just right.

Light & Love was born from that simple idea: that everyone deserves a little luxury in their everyday life. Every candle I make is poured with care, packaged with love, and delivered with a personal touch.
