A few simple habits will keep your Light & Love candle burning beautifully from the first light to the last.
Nikita's top tip
The first burn matters most
When lighting your candle for the first time, please allow it to burn for approximately 2 hours to ensure an even wax melt and a consistent burn throughout the life of the candle.
Trim the Wick
Trim your cotton wick to 5mm before each burn. This keeps the flame steady, reduces soot, and extends the life of your candle.
Mind the Burn Time
Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time. Let the candle cool completely before relighting for the best performance.
Keep it Safe
Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, children and pets. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Reuse the Jar
Once finished, place the jar in warm soapy water to remove remaining wax — or return it for a refill (see below).
